Child Abuse Solutions, Inc., Advanced Education for Court Professionals

Child Abuse Solutions, Inc. workshops are offered in collaboration with The Family Violence & Sexual Assault Institute (FVSAI) at the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma, Alliant International University.

Continuing Education Credits are therefore available for professionals in the following fields:

Psychologists	The Family Violence & Sexual Assault Institute (FVSAI) is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. FVSAI maintains responsibility for the programs.
MFTs and LCSWs	FVSAI is approved by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (PCE#33) to offer continuing education for LCSWs and MFTs. These courses meet the qualifications for continuing education for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
National Certified Counselors	FVSAI is recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors. FVSAI adheres to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines.
Substance Abuse Counselors	FVSAI is approved by the California Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC) to offer continuing education for certified alcohol and drug counselors (Provider # 1S-03-499-0105).
Nurses	FVSAI is approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses to offer continuing education for nurses (CEP#13737).
Child Custody Evaluators and Mediators	These courses have been approved by the Judicial Council of California to meet the requirements for the mandatory training, including Child Sexual Abuse and Domestic Violence training, required of all court connected and court appointed child custody evaluators and recommending mediators [CA R.O.C. #5.225(d)(4) and (h), CA Family Code Section 3110.5 (b)(2) and (f)]; CA R.O.C. #5.230; CA R.O.C. #5.210(f)(1); CA R.O.C. #5.215 (j)(1)and (2); CA Family Code Section 1816(a).].
Attorneys	Child Abuse Solutions, Inc. (CASI) and the Child Abuse Forensic Institute (CAFI) certify that these activities have been approved for MCLEs by the State Bar of California. The CAFI is a State Bar of California approved provider.
